About Us
Stress was a major factor in my private reflexology and nutrition practice. Once I discovered floating and it's incredible benefits, I knew it was a perfect addition to my services. We renovated an old building, with an industrial-functional feel, incorporating a subtle water theme into the materials and design. It is truly a work of art and one-of-a-kind. Our clients say they feel the peacefulness as they walk through our front door. Metta Relaxation Co. is the place to relax and let all your stress float away.
We have 5 open float rooms designed and created by the owners of Metta. We supply everything needed to float - towels, robes, earplugs, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, hair dryers, and q-tips.
The tanks are cleaned with UV & H2O2 are used to clean the tanks.
The owner is a self-proclaimed germaphobe, and due to our open design, we are able to scrub down the tanks and rooms multiple times a day. We change the salt every 6 months.
Our center is accessible for wheelchair users through a private back entrance. And due to our open design, we are very happy to have had a paraplegic able to get in and out of the tank by himself.
We currently sponsor a member of our local community with cancer.
